WLUK/GREEN BAY, WI – Digital Producer (Job ID 1497) – February 5, 2020

WLUK has an immediate opening for a creative Digital News Producer. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production of content on our multiple digital platforms. This position will also work closely with the Digital Executive Producer, Assignment Desk and news staff on the our web site and social content. In this position you will determine the layout and flow of the sites, work with management and staff to generate and write stories and develop deeper content for our web site. The ideal candidate will have: Solid news judgment. Be a compelling and accurate writer. Be able to multitask and manage time. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment. Strong leadership and communication skills. The ability to execute news strategies and goals. Flexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities are a must. Proficient with non-linear editing (i.e. Avid) and newsroom systems, such as iNews is beneficial. Experience: Must have at least some previous newsroom experience at a commercial TV station, although the right entry-level candidate may be considered. Experience with producing news content for digital platforms. A journalism degree is preferred. KTUL/TULSA, OK – News Photographer (Job ID#1294) – February 4, 2020

KTUL is looking for a creative full-time News Photographer! We are seeking someone who can see beyond the lens and bring back compelling stories. You will cover day to day general, in-depth features and investigative assignments. We are shooting full high definition (HD) on media cards and editing on desktops and laptops. You should have strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems, possess excellent people skills, a strong work ethic, and a great attitude. A passion for story telling is absolutely essential in this position. Requirements and Qualifications: At least 1-2+ years of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment. Team-player who can produce good stories under tight deadlines. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and be able to operate ENG news vehicles. Ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories, lives shots and natural sound packages.
